What you need before a BTC-to-XMR swap
Have BTC available to send, a Monero wallet that can receive XMR, and access to your sending wallet’s transaction history. The sending and receiving addresses belong to different networks. A Bitcoin address cannot receive native Monero.
- Open the receiving wallet yourself and copy its Monero receive address.
- Check the address after pasting; do not rely on the clipboard alone.
- Keep enough BTC for the sending wallet’s transaction fee.
Compare the payout, not just the exchange rate
Use the same BTC amount and network when comparing quotes. Look for the expected XMR received, costs included or excluded, minimum amount, quote expiry and deposit deadline. On VeriSwap the receive amount already includes the 0.5% service fee and stays valid for 15 minutes.
Send only against the correct order
For a live swap, use the deposit details generated for that order. Check the coin, network and amount before confirming in your wallet. Save the order reference and sending transaction ID. Do not reuse an old deposit address or send extra funds to try to speed up an order.
Check your Monero wallet after payout
Allow the receiving wallet to synchronize before deciding the payout is missing. An order reference and blockchain transaction ID are different things. If the service reports a payout that you cannot see, check the destination address and contact support using the saved order details.
Start the exchange on VeriSwap
Choose BTC → XMR, enter the amount and your Monero receiving address, then start the swap. The order page shows the deposit address, QR code and exact amount immediately, along with your private tracking reference. No account is needed and no KYC is required by us.
