For the payout, paste a Bitcoin address from your own wallet or a hardware wallet: bc1 (SegWit or Taproot), 3 or 1 formats work. Lightning invoices cannot receive this payout. If you plan to hold the Bitcoin long term, paste an address from a hardware wallet so the payout goes straight to cold storage.
Fees at a realistic amount
Swapping 1,000 USDC: the 0.5% service fee is 5 USD and is already deducted from the BTC amount on your order. Your wallet pays the Ethereum gas or the Solana fee to send the USDC. The Bitcoin miner fee for the payout is paid by us, so the BTC on the order is what you receive. If your USDC sits on an exchange, compare its withdrawal fee for Ethereum and Solana before you send; the Solana withdrawal is often cheaper.
Common mistakes on this route
- Sending USDC from Base, Arbitrum or Polygon to an Ethereum deposit address.
- Pasting a Lightning invoice or address instead of an on-chain Bitcoin address.
- Sending from an Ethereum wallet with no ETH for gas.
