Does SideShift support Monero?

No. On 20 October 2026 XMR was not in SideShift’s public coin list, its API rejected XMR as an invalid network, and its XMR pair pages returned errors. We found no notice from SideShift explaining when or why. If you came looking for a BTC to XMR or XMR to BTC swap, VeriSwap has dedicated pages for both, with network notes and a market reference rate.

Which quote gives you more?

SideShift folds its fee and, on fixed shifts, the network fee into the rate it shows, and the fee changes with the pair and market. Its partner programme says a default 0.5% commission is already inside the rate on its website. VeriSwap shows one receive amount with its 0.5% fee inside and pays the payout network fee itself. Both hold a quote for 15 minutes. Compare the net amount for the same pair, amount and network before you send.

What happens if a transaction is flagged?

SideShift’s risk management policy describes a check on every transaction. A flagged shift goes to human review; if it is rejected, the account is suspended and the deposit refunded after a holding period, and serious cases must complete verification first. VeriSwap’s stated policy is no KYC required by us, and every order is handled by the same operator from deposit to payout.

Who is each service for?

SideShift suits people who want automated swaps across a long list of tokens and networks, including layer 2s, with no account. VeriSwap suits people who want Monero or one of the main coins and stablecoins, a single quoted amount they can check, and an order handled end to end by one accountable party.
