Monero and privacy coins on each service
Both swap Monero. WizardSwap adds privacy-leaning coins that VeriSwap does not list, such as Firo, PIVX, Particl and Zano, but accepts Zcash on transparent addresses only. VeriSwap pays ZEC to transparent t1 or t3 addresses and unified u1 addresses, not Sapling-only zs1. Neither service is a mixer: privacy comes from Monero itself, and swapping a public-chain coin does not erase its history. Incoming XMR unlocks after 10 confirmations, with Monero blocks about every 2 minutes.
Which quote gives you more?
WizardSwap publishes a typical 2.2% fee, of which 0.2% is its service fee and the rest goes to liquidity providers and affiliates, and it can add up to 10% on coins with low liquidity or heavy demand. Its rates float, so the amount can be recalculated if your deposit arrives late. VeriSwap includes a 0.5% fee in one receive amount, held for 15 minutes, and pays the payout network fee. Compare the net amount for the same pair and amount at the same moment.
What happens if a transaction is flagged?
WizardSwap publishes no terms of service and no AML or KYC policy. Its FAQ answers the freeze question in one line: it cannot accept stolen funds and may need to freeze and seize them. Refunds for failed or overpaid orders go through its support email, with the network fee deducted. VeriSwap’s stated policy is no KYC required by us, and every order is checked by the same operator from deposit to payout; the platform you send from may still have its own rules.
Who is each service for?
WizardSwap suits people who hold smaller privacy coins, want a site that works without JavaScript or over Tor, or want to try atomic swaps through BasicSwap DEX. VeriSwap suits people who swap Monero against Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, Cardano, XRP or stablecoins such as USDT and USDC, want a stated 0.5% fee inside a 15-minute quote, and want every step logged on a private order page. If you need Firo, PIVX or Zano, VeriSwap does not list them.
